Tolga Kaan Doğancıoğlu

Strategic Investments & Operations

Tolga Kaan Doğancıoğlu has been appointed as President of Strategic Investments and Operations at Sabancı Group as of January 1, 2026 In addition to this role, Doğancıoğlu currently is Chairman of the Board and CEO of Sabancı Climate Technologies, and continues as Chairman of the Board at TEMSA, as well as a Board Member at Kordsa, Çimsa, and Afyon Cement. He is widely recognized for his experience in the industrial, automotive, and energy technologies sectors, as well as for his strategic leadership in sustainability, mobility, and energy transformation.

Since 2024, Doğancıoğlu has been leading the global growth and investment strategies of Sabancı Climate Technologies, playing an active role particularly in the development of U.S.-based renewable energy and climate technology investments. Previously, he held the position of CEO at TEMSA between 2020 and 2024, where he led the company’s transformation process, focusing on electric and sustainable transportation solutions.

Before joining the Sabancı Group in 2017 as a senior executive within the Industrial Group Presidency and at Kordsa, Doğancıoğlu held leadership roles across various sectors. He began his professional career at ASELSAN in 1994, and later took on active roles in national and international projects at ENKA Teknik and Ford Otosan. In 2005, he founded the engineering and design company Hexagon Studio and held the position of General Manager for 12 years.

A graduate of Ankara Anatolian High School and Middle East Technical University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Doğancıoğlu also completed his MBA at Koç University in 2004. He is fluent in English and German and has extensive experience in international business development and managing multicultural teams.

Married with two children, Doğancıoğlu is actively involved in several international business organizations, including TÜSİAD, DTİK, DEİK, and the Turkish-American Business Council.

With over 30 years of leadership experience in mobility, advanced materials, sustainable energy, and climate technologies, Doğancıoğlu is considered one of the key leaders shaping the transformation of the Sabancı Group and driving global developments in energy and mobility.
